The Ranch at Dove Tree in Lubbock, TX is seeking a full-time Counselor to provide treatment, counseling, and support for clients recovering from addictions and related mental health issues. The role includes assessing needs, planning treatment, and coordinating with families and referral sources.

Onsite position with a comprehensive benefits plan; licensure/certification required and experience in addiction counseling preferred. This role emphasizes individualized care and community outreach.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of post-bachelor professional experience in addictions or counseling, or Master’s with 1+ years in addictions/therapy.
• Must have degree from an accredited college or university.
• Licensure or certifications as social worker, counselor, therapist or addiction counselor required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct client assessments to identify history, current presentation, problems, and treatment needs.
• Lead group, individual or family counseling sessions using evidence-based modalities.
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling to clients as needed.
• Document care, treatment plans, progress notes, and aftercare planning promptly.
