Job summary

Vincentian Home in McCandless, PA is seeking a Full Time Activity Aide to join the Community Life Team.

You will coordinate daily programs, provide engagement for residents and intergenerational activities, and assist with transportation and event setup in a caring, resident-centered environment.

The role requires a High School diploma and NCCAP Activity Aide certification (or eligibility); daylight schedule with potential weekend work and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent, required.
• NCCAP Activity Aide Certified or certified eligible.
• Experience in activities/life enrichment preferred.
• Background in music or art preferred.
• Driver’s license preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using a Content Management Writer is a plus.
• Enthusiastic about partnering with residents, families and the community.

Responsibilities

• Promote resident-centered care with kindness, respect and dignity.
• Plan and execute engaging programs and activities for residents.
• Incorporate wellness and intergenerational practices into experiences.
• Document interactions in care plans per state standards.
• Assist with transportation and daily operations as needed.
