Job summary

Big Meadows Nursing Home is seeking a Part Time Activity Aide to assist the Activity Director in planning, coordinating, and directing residents' activity programs.

You will facilitate activities for all residents, support night and weekend programs, and help with one-to-one activities, mail delivery, and records.

This role emphasizes compassionate care in a close-knit setting where families note the difference a thoughtful activity schedule can make.

Qualifications

• Facilitate both individual and group activities based on the individual needs of the residents.
• Ensure that activities are occurring for both high and low functioning residents
• Provide activities for residents that are bedfast and/or unable to participate in group activities (one to one) and document in the appropriate record
• Assist with activity programs night and weekend activities as needed
• Deliver resident mail daily
• Other duties as assigned by the Activity Director and/or Administrator
