Job summary

Complete Care in Maryland is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to join our long-term care team. The role focuses on implementing scheduled programs, assisting residents, and fostering a positive, engaging environment.

We welcome candidates with a high school diploma, good communication, and the ability to work independently or with others. Prior long-term care or activity experience is preferred, and one weekend per month is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Effective communicator.
• Previous creative/activity background preferred.
• Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
