Job summary

Serenity Estates of Lincolnshire is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Assistant for a full-time role in Lincolnshire, IL. You will help manage weekly and monthly activity schedules and work closely with residents to promote engagement.

The position requires excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a Skilled Nursing setting, with a focus on dignity and well-being of residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.

• Knowledge of patient/resident rights and maintaining safety and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to scheduled daily activities.
• Assist in planning and coordinating the activity calendar with the Activity Director.
• Coordinate with other departments and community partners to maintain activity programs.
• Engage residents to promote participation in activities.
• Maintain a positive attitude and upbeat demeanor.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
