Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in social services or related field; passion for working with seniors a must.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional, social, and psychological support to residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate and facilitate resident outings, social events, and activities, ensuring a sense of community and social engagement.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, progress, and interactions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members to ensure a seamless care experience.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address resident needs and concerns.
• Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and care delivery.
