Lacon Rehab & Nursing in Illinois seeks a full-time Activities Assistant to enrich residents’ lives with engaging recreational and social programs. You will work closely with the Activities Director to create meaningful experiences that promote participation and well-being.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting daily activities, assisting with transportation, setting up areas, and coordinating with nursing staff.

Formación

• Experience working with seniors or in healthcare preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing, and dependable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with planning and conducting daily activities
• Encourage resident participation in group and individual programs
• Help transport residents to and from activities as needed
• Set up and clean up activity areas
• Maintain attendance and participation records
• Support holiday events, celebrations, and special programs
• Work cooperatively with nursing and other departments
