Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, seeks a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team. This role reports to the Controller and will perform day-to-day accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, and support for year-end close and external audits.

Preferred candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant experience and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This will be a key role in our accounting function.

Advanced Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions)
