RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. The role involves day-to-day accounting tasks, bank reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close and audits.

• Strong Excel skills are required (pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
