Job summary

Caravel Autism Health in Hiawatha, IA is seeking a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with young children with autism in a center-based program. You will deliver ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, guided by individualized treatment plans, through play and meaningful interactions that foster safety and engagement.

Upon joining, you will receive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with mentorship and a clear pathway for career growth, including a scholarship toward a BCBA

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children ages 18 months to 6 years with autism in a center-based environment.
• Deliver ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA, guided by treatment plans.
• Build skills through play and presence to help children feel safe to try new tasks.
• Track progress and document sessions using ABA technology.
• Prepare for the RBT certification exam within the first 45 days.
