Job summary

Community Consolidated School District 89 in Illinois is hiring a full-time 1:1 Aide to assist a student at Park View Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is five days a week, FTE 1.0, under the direct supervision of the assigned teacher.

As an Instructional Aide, you will support classroom instruction, monitor student progress, prepare materials, and assist with behavior management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Paraprofessional Certification with 60 college credits and ROE approval.
• Experience supervising children in group settings; childcare experience preferred.
• Experience with Apple computer systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned student with daily classroom activities as directed by the teacher.
• Monitor and document student academic and behavioral progress.
• Set up classroom and prepare materials for instructional units; manage AV equipment and computers.
• Maintain attendance records and assist with student assessments and logs.
