Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet seeks a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join the Engineering and Operations team in Houston, TX for the Fall 2026 Internship Program. This part-time role runs 20 hours per week over 13 weeks (Aug 31 – Nov 27, 2026), focusing on frontend/backend tasks and improving the FTX website usability and navigation.

You will work with IT and business stakeholders to implement features, ensure scalability and security, and document decisions for continuity.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/SE/CE/IS with strong academic record.
• Experience with web development and SDLC.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Familiar with React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States; CPT for eligible F-1 students.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance FTX homepage and landing pages for usability.
• Implement easy-access link functionality.
• Build features displaying previously visited URLs for users.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to prioritize features.
• Support front-end and back-end tasks for end-to-end implementation.
• Ensure solutions are scalable and secure per internal standards.
• Test and validate new features across user groups.
• Document design decisions and feature updates.
