Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet is seeking motivated Engineering Interns to join our Engineering and Operations team in Houston, TX for the Fall 2026 Internship Program. This part-time, 20-hour-per-week role runs Aug 31–Nov 27, 2026.

Interns will work with engineering, manufacturing, quality and operations teams to improve efficiency, standardize processes, and support digital transformation with projects in process improvement, reporting automation, analytics and dashboard development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy and documentation quality.
• Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently and with teams.
• Able to translate technical findings into clear, actionable summaries.

Responsibilities

• Document, update, and improve SOPs for manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Support development of cosmetic and workmanship training programs for production and quality teams.
• Standardize reports, metrics, and documentation for clarity and usability.
• Analyze production, quality, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support throughput, yield, and performance tracking, including FPY and UPH metrics.
• Assist in dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for real-time visibility.
• Support reporting automation and digitalization using Excel, Python, Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Document project activities, reporting workflows, and improvement initiatives.
