Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet in Houston, TX seeks a motivated Software Engineering Intern for Fall 2026. This part-time 20-hour/week internship runs 13 weeks (Aug 31–Nov 27, 2026) and supports IT and digital experience initiatives on the FTX website.

You will work with stakeholders to implement features, improve usability, and build components for displaying user history while gaining hands-on experience in full-stack development and enterprise web apps in a global manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/SE/CE/IS or related field.
• Strong fundamentals and SDLC knowledge.
• Experience with web development (front-end, back-end, or full-stack).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States; CPT may be supported for eligible F-1 visa students.
• Detail-oriented and capable of writing clean, testable code.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance features for the FTX homepage and landing pages to improve usability.
• Implement easy-access link functionality to improve navigation for internal users.
• Display previously visited URLs for individual users to speed up access to resources.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
• Support front-end and back-end development tasks for end-to-end feature implementation.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to internal standards.
• Test features for usability, functionality, and cross-group consistency.
• Document technical design decisions and feature updates for continuity.
