Job summary

Stellar Development Foundation in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer for the Wallets team to design, build, and deploy applications across our product suite, including Freighter, and the open‑source libraries it depends on.

You will own features end‑to‑end, from scalable data models to polished user interfaces, deepen your understanding of the Stellar network, and collaborate with industry partners to keep Freighter at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience in a collaborative team.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.
• Experience writing server applications in Go, Python, or Java.
• Proficiency building client applications in TypeScript, Swift, or Dart.
• Excellent communication and ability to contribute in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• design, build, and deploy applications across our product suite and technical stack including Freighter and dependencies.
• end-to-end feature development from data models to user interfaces.
• develop a deep understanding of the Stellar network and integration points.
• collaborate with industry partners to keep Freighter leading in the space.
• participate in code reviews and share best practices with the team.
