Job summary

Laritech, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Front-End / Full-Stack engineer to join a small, collaborative team in Moorpark, CA. You will contribute to new application development and enhancements to existing systems, delivering dynamic UI screens and robust APIs.

The role requires deep TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React/Redux experience, and familiarity with SolidJS. You will work closely with users to gather requirements, troubleshoot, and produce maintainable code in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:

Laritech’s software development group plays a key role in driving our continued growth by building custom internal applications that streamline operations across the company.

This is a hands-on development role within a small, collaborative team. You’ll contribute to new application development as well as enhancements to existing systems.

Job Requirements:

You must be a self-starter, take genuine pride in your work, and be empathetic to your users by building software that YOU would enjoy using.

We use the SolidJS library for our front-end UI. Experience using SolidJS is ideal, but you must have a solid grasp and professional experience with React/Redux.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and build dynamic, responsive UI screens using TypeScript and modern front-end techniques
• Develop and maintain Node.js/Express APIs to support internal applications
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server to read and write application data
• Collaborate with users to gather requirements and translate them into practical solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-organized code

Front-End / TypeScript

• Strong experience with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS/SCSS
• Experience using socket.io for bi-directional communication between client and server
• Experience building dynamic UI components and working with modern layout systems (Flex/Grid)
• Experience with React (Redux experience is a plus; SolidJS experience is a bonus); Back-End / Node.js
• Experience building APIs using Node.js and Express
• Understanding of async programming (async/await, promises)
• Experience working with third-party APIs

Database

• Strong understanding of relational database design

Required Experience

• Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience building full-stack web applications
• Experience working on production systems used by real users

Soft Skills

• Ability to work directly with users to understand and refine requirements
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical team members
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a small team environment
• Good judgment in troubleshooting and problem-solving

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with SolidJS
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
