Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Technical Team Lead to guide a portfolio of financial web applications within the finance tech organization. You will lead a full-stack team, own end-to-end delivery and drive architecture across frontend micro-frontends and backend services in a SOX-controlled environment.

The role is based in Richmond, VA with in-office Monday‑Thursday and Friday work from home, offering strong compensation and growth opportunities within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years building web applications and 3+ years delivering API-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with React, Node.js and C#/ .NET.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and coordinating with product stakeholders.
• Proven ability to own delivery, on-call ownership and CI/CD in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of full-stack engineers with coaching and career development.
• Own the team’s end-to-end deliverables and maintain quality and on-time delivery.
• Plan with other engineering teams, product management, and business stakeholders.
• Own architecture across full stack, balancing frontend and backend concerns.
• Remain hands-on in design and implementation, including code reviews.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable work.
• Ensure production reliability with monitoring, incident response, and observability.
• Maintain high engineering standards across testing, security and CI/CD.
