CoStar Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Team Lead for Software Engineering - Full-Stack to guide a portfolio of financial web applications used by internal sales, finance and customer service teams. You will own end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers, and shape architecture across frontend and backend components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years building web apps and 3+ years delivering API-driven systems.
• Experience owning team delivery, planning, and cross-functional coordination.
• Hands-on with production React apps and server-side Node.js/.NET.
• Strong SQL Server/T‑SQL and data quality controls for financial data.
• Experience designing complete applications with API contracts and versioning.
• Proven production reliability, on-call ownership, and CI/CD in cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of full stack engineers, including hiring and coaching.
• Own the team's deliverables end-to-end, with on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with product, finance, and business stakeholders across teams.
• Own architecture across frontend, backend-for-frontend, REST APIs and data layer.
• Stay hands-on in design, implementation, and code reviews.
• Translate regulatory requirements into well-scoped engineering work.
• Ensure production support, monitoring, alerting, and reliability.
• Maintain high engineering standards across testing, observability, and security.
