Job summary

CoStar Group in Richmond, VA, seeks a Technical Team Lead to steer the portfolio of financial web applications within the finance tech org. You will manage a team, guide architecture across the full stack, and ensure reliable, auditable systems used by sales, finance and customer service.

This hands-on leadership role combines design, implementation and mentorship, with accountability for production reliability and SOX controls. Office Mon-Thu; Fri work-from-home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited in-person college/university.
• 5+ years’ experience building web apps and 3+ years with distributed, API-driven systems.
• Experience owning delivery for a team with planning and coordination with stakeholders.
• Hands-on React with server-side Node.js and C#/.NET.
• Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL with performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of full-stack engineers with hiring and coaching.
• Own the team’s end-to-end deliverables and schedule.
• Coordinate with product management and business stakeholders.
• Own architecture across the full stack including API and data layer.
• Stay hands-on in design and code reviews.
• Translate requirements into well-scoped engineering work.
• Be accountable for production support, monitoring and reliability.
• Maintain high engineering standards across testing, CI/CD, observability and security.
