InRhythm seeks a Principal Full Stack Engineering Lead Consultant to direct delivery of enterprise-scale platforms. Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, incl. 8+ years on enterprise Angular apps.
• 5+ years of backend engineering with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• 3+ years in formal tech leadership (Principal/Tech Lead) driving architecture.
• Applied AI integrations incl. RAG, MCP, and AI-assisted dev tools.
• Frontend performance optimization and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.
• Automated testing with Cypress/Jest/Jasmine/Karma/JUnit; CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Jenkins.
• Experience partnering with enterprise clients to drive architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across SDLC and define architecture.
• Lead Angular/TypeScript frontend and Java backend architecture and standards.

InRhythm is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineering Lead Consultant to direct delivery, guide modern frontend and backend architecture, and drive measurable client outcomes for enterprise platform initiatives. This role operates at the intersection of hands‑on software development, system design, AI‑assisted software engineering, agentic architecture, and technical leadership. You will lead cross‑functional engineering teams through application modernization and enterprise platform delivery while serving as a trusted technical point of contact for client stakeholders.

Your Impact

• Lead the architectural design and delivery of secure, scalable enterprise applications using modern Angular frontends and Java enterprise microservices.
• Modernize legacy application architectures into modular, microservices‑driven, and event‑driven architectures.
• Drive the adoption of AI‑enabled engineering workflows and agentic capabilities, incorporating RAG integration, MCP (Model Context Protocol) server architectures, and automated testing practices to accelerate time‑to‑market.
• Elevate team throughput, code quality, and delivery predictability by setting strict engineering guardrails, design patterns, and testing standards.
• Act as a primary technical contact for client leadership, aligning technical roadmaps with business objectives and stakeholder priorities.

What You Will Do

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership across the software development lifecycle, defining frontend and backend architecture, engineering standards, and technical strategy.
• Lead the architectural design and development of enterprise applications using Angular 16+, TypeScript, RxJS, state management, and component design systems.
• Architect and develop secure backend microservices, RESTful APIs, and integration layers using Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, and enterprise authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
• Design and execute advanced AI integrations, including Agentic RAG patterns, custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) server connections, enterprise vector database RAG pipelines, and AI‑assisted developer tooling (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, TestPilot AI).
• Direct, mentor, and elevate an engineering team, establishing delivery practices, code review standards, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
• Translate business requirements into architectural decision records (ADRs), technical roadmaps, and actionable execution plans in close collaboration with client Product Managers and UX teams.

What You Will Bring

Must Have Experience

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 8+ years dedicated to enterprise‑scale Angular application development (Angular 14+, TypeScript, RxJS, state management, SCSS, responsive design).
• 5+ years of enterprise backend engineering experience using Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and relational or NoSQL database integration.
• 3+ years in formal technical leadership positions (Principal Engineer, Tech Lead, Staff Engineer) with direct experience guiding engineering teams and defining system architecture.
• Applied experience with advanced AI integrations and agentic architectures, including production RAG integration, Agentic RAG workflows, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server implementation or integration, alongside AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI APIs).
• Deep expertise in frontend performance optimization (lazy loading, change detection, caching), Web Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA / ADA compliance), and enterprise design systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest, Jasmine, Karma, JUnit) and enterprise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker).
• Proven track record of working directly with enterprise client stakeholders to drive architectural decisions and deliver business results.

Nice to Have Experience

• Hands‑on experience with event‑streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or modern API protocols such as GraphQL.
• Exposure to cloud‑native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector, Milvus), and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience with alternative modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Industry certifications (Oracle Certified Professional Java SE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CKA/CKAD).
• Background in professional services, technology consulting, or client‑facing delivery environments.
