Job summary

InRhythm is looking for a senior software engineer to design, implement, and scale digital products for Fortune 50 enterprises and startups. The role emphasizes cloud-native architectures, mentorship, and high-impact delivery.

You’ll work with Java Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, and a modern tech stack in a fast-growing, collaborative environment that values learning, impact, and a strong consulting mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Java Spring Boot and cloud-native design.
• Experience architecting large-scale, event-driven systems with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, CQRS, and Event Sourcing.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and secure service communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex system designs and influence architecture across domains.
• Mentor developers and grow engineering capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects.

What you are really good at:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with expertise in Java Spring Boot and cloud-native design
• Proven experience architecting large-scale, event-driven systems with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies
• Deep knowledge of Microservices, CQRS, and Event Sourcing in production environments
• Experience implementing Zero Trust Architecture across application, API, and data layers
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Strong command of API Gateway platforms such as Kong, Apigee, or similar
• Experience working with Oracle or other enterprise-grade relational databases
• Familiarity with IAM protocols and secure service communication standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, etc.)
• Ability to lead complex system designs, mentor developers, and infl uence architecture across domains
• A strong consulting mindset—collaborative, outcome-driven, and client-facing when needed
