Job summary

InRhythm is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer for a hybrid role in Westlake, TX. You will own the full frontend development lifecycle, building rich web applications and mentoring engineers to elevate team capabilities.

Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer (Hybrid)

Location: Westlake, TX (Hybrid)

Our Team is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who has a passion for building rich frontend web applications. This individual will own the full software development lifecycle to assess and deliver critical web platforms that will directly impact hundreds of thousands to millions of users. This individual will also help grow and coach engineers to realize their full potential as much as be mentored and coached themselves for upward career acceleration.

We’re looking for a natural in building and maintaining relationships in financial and tech environments. The ideal candidate will be a driver of process, accountability, customer engagement, and strategy. This will be driven from a proven ability to plan and execute scalable strategies, superior client management and escalation skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

At InRhythm, you will:

• Design, develop, and test Web applications and work with fellow Software Engineers and Product Managers to navigate the discussion and strategy in re-architecting existing web platforms.
• Identify pitfalls ahead of time, raising concerns and managing expectations with all stakeholders.
• Define and break out epics/features for others, while maintaining a sense of the whole picture.
• Work in a cross-functional agile team to deliver working software incrementally.
• Help with the Web Practice's direction by collaborating on the interviewing pipeline, hosting tech talks and workshops, and identifying industry trends.
• Mentor less-experienced members of the team and interview potential engineers for your own and other teams.

What you bring to the table:

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience using web technologies.
• Staying up to date on industry trends and excellent communication skills.

What makes you stand out:

• Experience with Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• GraphQL, UI testing (end-to-end), and Server Side Rendering.
• Experience with WebSockets, MobX, RxJs, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and TDD (Test Driven Development).
