Job summary

Akina Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer Full Stack 2 to join the forward-deployed team in Fort Meade, MD. You will work on data transforms, data pipelines, and frontend work using Python, SQL, and React, with close collaboration with analysts and operators on mission-critical tools.

Required eight years SWE experience, a CS degree, and TS/SCI - Polygraph clearance. Compensation ranges from $199k to $244k per year, with extensive benefits and a focus on national security projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years SWE experience in similar scope or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with Python data processing and data transforms
• Knowledge of SQL and multiple database flavors
• Experience with frontend toolchains and React
• Ability to work directly with customers and handle feedback

Responsibilities

• Develop data transforms for various data formats
• Gather feature requests and understand customer needs
• Explore unknown data and help analysts ask the right questions
• Improve performance of applications and data transforms
• Support mission-critical servers and assist as a server framework developer
