Job summary

Akina Inc. in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Senior SWE2 to build and maintain tools that support the operational mission. You will work with analysts, operators, and developers, delivering solutions in a fast CI/CD environment and incorporating user feedback in real time.

You should have eight+ years of SWE experience, strong full stack web development skills, and experience with Jira/Confluence, databases, and AI-assisted development. TS/SCI - Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Eight years of SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with full stack development and web development.

Responsibilities

• Support and build/maintain tools that support the operational mission.
• Identify and resolve workflow inefficiencies and take advantage of opportunities to advance mission.
• Interact with customers and teammates, develop solutions iteratively within a fast CI/CD workflow.
• Interface with analysts, operators, and developers and see the impact of your work daily.
• Provide dataflow expertise and expand on existing workflow automation efforts.
