Bio-Techne is seeking a versatile Software Engineer to drive development of scalable web applications, data analytics, and instrument control software in a hybrid role based in Wallingford, CT. You will collaborate with scientists, product management, and SQA to deliver robust systems that meet regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes C#/.NET, Blazor, microservices, and modern DevOps practices, with opportunities to apply AI-assisted tooling and ensure high-quality software across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience developing commercial or enterprise full-stack software applications.
• Proficient with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
• Experience building modern web apps with Blazor, RESTful APIs, and microservice architecture.

Responsibilities

• Full-Lifecycle Execution and Delivery: participate in all phases of the SDLC from design to deployment.
• Architecture & Clean Code: refactor legacy components and ensure testable, clean architecture.
• Pragmatic AI & Tooling: leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development and testing.
• Pragmatic Delivery: maintain velocity with incremental releases and scope control.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with scientists, hardware engineers, and QA teams.
• Compliance & Standards: align practices with ISO-13485 and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
