Job summary

Trinity Life Sciences seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build cloud-native AI-enabled applications in a hybrid setup across Waltham, MA; New York, NY; and Princeton, NJ. You will own the full stack, architect scalable solutions, and drive best practices in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll lead development, mentor teams, and collaborate with data engineers on AI/ML pipelines while ensuring security and CI/CD excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production-grade solutions with leadership experience.
• Expert in React web apps, React Native with state management, TypeScript, JavaScript, and responsive UI libraries.
• Expert in building AI apps with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, including token optimization and streaming responses.
• Expert in Python and Django with REST and GraphQL APIs; async patterns (asyncio, FastAPI) for AI workloads.
• Experience with multi-modal AI (text, images, documents), model adaptation, data governance in AI contexts.
• Hands-on Docker and containerization with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Cloud platform development (AWS, Azure, GCP) with serverless, containers, and IAM/JWT/SSO auth.
• Experience with RDBMS/NoSQL and schema design; testing frameworks (Jest, Pytest, Selenium).
• Monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Sentry) and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship scalable cloud apps on AWS, Azure, or GCP with event-driven microservices and serverless architectures.
• Build AI integrations using modern frameworks, focusing on prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and agent orchestration.
• Lead technical architecture decisions, code reviews, and define development standards and roadmaps.
• Own the full stack—from UI to Django REST and GraphQL APIs; implement real-time features with WebRTC/WebSockets/SSE.
• Create and enforce testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) and documentation; champion DevOps and observability.
• Lead production incident response, post-mortems, and evaluate emerging AI/ML tools; mentor teams.
