Job summary

Fleet Response is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain applications across the full stack, from database to front end, in an Agile environment. You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Architecture teams to gather requirements, prototype solutions, implement enhancements, and perform unit testing to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with API and web application development technologies.
• Proficiency with C#, Angular 10+, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control tools.
• Experience working within a predominantly .NET-based codebase.
• Ability to work effectively within a predominantly Windows-based development environment.
• Experience writing T-SQL and working with Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications across multiple tiers.
• Support complex development initiatives across multiple projects and environments.
• Gather and evaluate requirements to develop effective solutions.
• Prototype, develop, test, and implement software addressing needs.
• Design, develop, and extend back-end web services using JSON, .NET, SQL.
• Create, consume, maintain, and enhance RESTful APIs.
• Develop and execute unit tests to support quality and performance.
• Support releases and development activities using Agile practices.
• Apply TDD and CI/CD throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams through lifecycle.
• Work with architects to align solutions with standards.
• Participate in solution scoping and cross-environment development.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and development standards.
• Maintain technical documentation related to applications.
• Manage multiple priorities with changing requirements.
