Affirm is hiring a software engineer to help ship web and mobile apps, design scalable APIs, and contribute to a highly collaborative engineering culture. You'll break down work with your team, participate in the product lifecycle, and sustain operations while growing technically and personally.

The role emphasizes ownership, code quality, and clear communication within a remote-first environment with flexible in-person onboarding options.

Formación

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing APIs at scale with Kotlin or Python.
• Able to write clear, testable, extensible code and perform reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with the team.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on decisions.
• Support operations and on-call efforts by monitoring metrics and escalation.
• Contribute to team growth through interview participation and feedback.
