Job summary

Cumbrian Water is seeking a Software Engineer to join its collaborative team in delivering scalable and secure solutions for customers and internal stakeholders across the region.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain front-end and back-end components, working with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into high-quality software that supports the company's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with JavaScript (React.js), Python and SQL.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to implement features.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and debug issues.
• Support continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
