Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop and support scalable full‑stack applications across web, backend, cloud, data, automation and AI-enabled use cases. The role collaborates with business stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural plans and delivery milestones.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, automate testing and deployment, and contribute to AI-enabled workflows while working in a hybrid environment in approved locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent/relevant experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• 3+ years' experience in full-stack engineering across front-end, back-end, cloud and DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js, React Native, iOS or Android).
• 3+ years' back-end experience with Node.js, .NET, or Java and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, workflows and success criteria.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate requirements into architecture and plans.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable full-stack applications across web, backend, cloud, data, automation and AI use cases.
• Build front-end apps with modern frameworks and ensure responsive, maintainable UI.
• Design backend services, APIs, integrations and microservices; build cloud-native solutions.
• Integrate AI capabilities through enterprise AI platforms, APIs and cloud services.
