Job summary

Humana seeks a Software Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy modern full-stack applications. You will work across web, backend, cloud, data, automation, and AI-enabled use cases, emphasizing scalable architectures and secure DevOps practices.

The role requires collaboration with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into implementable solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and robust production systems. Hybrid work is available in approved locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent/relevant experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in full-stack engineering across front-end, back-end, cloud, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, workflows, and success criteria.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate requirements into architecture and plans.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable full-stack applications across web, backend, cloud, data, automation, and AI-enabled use cases.
• Build and maintain front-end apps using Vue.js, React, Angular, or Next.js.
• Design backend services, APIs, integrations, and microservices using Python.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP with monitoring and security in mind.
• Implement automation, AI-enabled workflows, and production-ready solutions.
• Integrate AI capabilities using enterprise AI platforms and cloud services.
• Design automation for software delivery, testing, monitoring, and developer productivity.
• Collaborate with product and core engineering to influence designs and roadmaps.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing and deployments.
