Overview

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, innovative full stack software engineer to join a collaborative team in a classified environment. The role involves technical analysis, design, and guidance to support successful project delivery and effective communication with staff for reporting system environment status.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute software development plans via the System Design Plan using a Software Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) methodology.
• Build and maintain development and test environments.
• Update system design plans for the AWS cloud environment across all domains.
• Modify systems based on new releases, emerging technology, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Build or enhance data feeds to support data sharing across the Intel Community.
• Develop new system features to support end‑user requirements.
• Manage installation/upgrade of cloud architectures and workstation‑hosted CG capability software.
• Control configurations and changes, maintain steady‑state operations and provide maintenance as required by industry standards, warranty, program changes, or security needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology/Cybersecurity or related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years overall experience.
• Minimum 5 years specific related experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience leading a team of developers.

Required Experience

• Work within development teams to ideate software solutions.
• Experience creating modern web-based apps for data visualization.
• Write effective APIs and Lambda functions in AWS.
• Create unit tests, mitigate code smells, security hotspots, and follow best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Experience with React and a strong background in TypeScript.
• Experience with VSCode/Chrome development.
• Experience with AWS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Experience with information systems in a classified environment.
• Experience in cloud software development.
• Experience with Java, SQL, C#, and HTML.
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Top Secret clearance with ability to attain SCI/Poly requirement.
• A+, Security+, CASP+, or CISSP certification (or comparable) required.

Preferred Experience

• Previous consulting experience and understanding of customer/business needs.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube.
• Experience with Agile practices.
• Experience with source control (e.g., Git).
• Cross‑domain experience.
