Job summary

Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developer for a Washington, DC-based project. The role combines mostly remote work with on-site presence at least one day per month in the DC area.

You will design, implement, and test a web app, edit content, and ensure adherence to design guidelines while collaborating with a cross-functional team. Requires TS/JS expertise and strong REST/DevOps familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Proficient in React.js and NodeJS.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience building and working with RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab-CI.
• Knowledge of image editing tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience working with open source software.
• Experience with TypeScript (Intermediate).
• Experience with HTML (Intermediate).
• Experience with SQL (Intermediate).
• Experience with React.js (Advanced).
• Experience with Node.js (Advanced).
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to work independently.

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Full Stack Developer. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing leadership necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting design/development. The place of performance for this contract is in Washington, DC and is NOT remote.

Responsibilities
