Job summary

Berkley Technology Services (BTS) in the Des Moines area is seeking a Software Developer (.NET) Intern to support a .NET-based policy administration platform used by WRB member companies. You’ll work across the full stack—from requirements to design, development, testing, and deployment—gaining hands-on experience and seeing the impact of your code.

Expect exposure to .NET, Angular, C++, SQL, and AI concepts; participate in agile ceremonies; triage production issues; and contribute to ongoing

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework in CS or MIS with programming.
• Experience with OO languages; .NET preferred; Angular or C++ also considered.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good customer service focus and sense of urgency.
• Able to quickly adapt and learn new technologies.
• Co-op, internship, or on/off-campus tech experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement enhancements for the underwriting platform.
• Experience the full software development cycle from requirements to deployment.
• Work with OO languages: .NET, Angular, C++, SQL, and AI concepts.
• Triage and troubleshoot production issues with end users.
• Assist with release planning and migration of changes.
• Participate in agile development processes.
