Job summary

Berkley Medical Management Solutions, part of W. R. Berkley Corporation, seeks a Software Development Engineer to join a collaborative team building robust web-based applications and services.

You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, implement APIs, and work across backend, frontend, and data layers in a fast-paced environment with modern cloud, container, and messaging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience as a .NET Developer with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
• Experience building full-stack web-based applications (backend, frontend, DB).
• Knowledge of .Net, C#, JavaScript; HTML5, Angular/Node/React preferred.
• Experience with REST & GraphQL APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Proficient in SQL; familiarity with SQL Server or MySQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and version control (Git).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, debugging and configuring systems.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET technologies and web/middleware stack.
• Develop and integrate APIs for data exchange between components.
• Refactor and review code; participate in design and documentation.
• Develop documentation throughout the SDLC and collaborate with teams.
