Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing full-stack web applications.
• Experience with React.js, Vite, Java/Spring Boot, and Oracle or Postgres databases.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with ability to evaluate outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, security and resiliency expectations.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Exposure to agile methodologies like CI/CD, security, and application resiliency.
• Emerging knowledge of cloud, IaC, and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solution design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Writes secure, high-quality code with limited guidance.
• Leverages enterprise AI coding tools to improve code quality and productivity.
• Designs and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream/downstream systems.
• Applies SDLC tools and automated capabilities to improve value of automation.
• Performs basic technical troubleshooting of problems.
