Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Commercial & Investment Bank. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot production-grade software in a fast-paced agile environment, leveraging enterprise Java, Spring, and AI-assisted tooling.

You will contribute to architecture, performance tuning, and data-driven improvements while maintaining secure, scalable solutions across multiple business functions. A US citizenship and robust SDLC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• US Citizenship required.
• Experience with core Java & Spring for enterprise-level apps.
• Advanced experience with Java, J2EE and SQL server.
• Hands-on use of enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions and design with scalable, secure production code.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity.
• Creates architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Develops visualizations and reporting from large data sets for continuous improvement.
