Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Proficient with Java /Spring Boot.
• Experience with JavaScript / React.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with critical thinking beyond routine problems.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains supporting algorithms.
• Uses AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and speed, with peer reviews and automated tests.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve value of automation and development workflow.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts and ensures design constraints are met.
• Develops visualizations and reporting from large data sets for continuous improvement.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive coding hygiene and architecture improvements.
