Tech Mahindra is seeking a software engineer to contribute to Propulsion in-house CAD/CAE apps. You will apply OOP, Java/Angular, and automation testing to design, develop, test, and deploy components within a microservices framework on GCP. Strong SQL, testing, and GitHub skills are essential.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of Java full stack experience and 3+ years Angular. Excellent communication and ability to work independently are expected in a fast-paced, customer-facing

A Bachelor’s or Higher Degree is the minimum entry required for the position

Position Description:

Need software engineer to work on Propulsion in house developed apps in CAD / CAE domain with the knowledge of OOP concepts, JAVA/Angular programming and Automation testing. Job involves software engineering responsibilities in CAD / CAE domain such as understanding the requirement, design and develop the solution, problem debugging and analysis, testing the developed components/models and pushing the tested module to the version controlled environment (GitHub).

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to deeply understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies.
• Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience of utilizing Java full stack to design scalable web applications by leveraging microservices architecture and APIGEE / RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years of experience of utilizing Angular to create user friendly front end and enable real time data updates in the web application user interface.
• Minimum 5+ SQL / Oracle database experience or PostGres.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development (Cloud Run, Pub Sub, GCS Bucket) and deployment experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong in functional, integration and regression testing manually and automatically.
• Experience working complex SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data in relational database.
• Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories.
• Experience with test driven development practices.
• Experience troubleshooting application and performance issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi task and manage changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when facing unexpected problems

Experience Preferred:

• Experience in Jira
• Development Practices such as TDD/BDD
• Well versed with design such OOP
• Code quality analysis of performing static and dynamic analysis on their own code

The pay rangeforthis role is $110,000- $120,000 per annumincluding any bonuses or variable pay.
