Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced software engineer capable of designing, developing, and delivering Java 11 applications. The role requires collaboration with cross functional teams to define and ship features, ensuring performance and quality while mentoring junior developers.

The ideal candidate has 7–15 years of software development experience, strong OO design, and proficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using Java 11.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java 11 and its core libraries.
• Experience with object oriented programming and design patterns.
• Proficient in using development tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with front end technologies (e.g., Angular, React).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Scrum).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $120,000- $130,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
