CGI in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Mid-Level Java Developer to join a high-performing Agile team building a modern web application for a government agency. The stack includes Java, SpringBoot, Angular, PostgreSQL, Docker, and other open source tools.

You will contribute across the full development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment, collaborating with clients and end users to deliver reliable features.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional web application development.
• Strong background in Java, Angular, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with RESTful services and Agile software lifecycle.
• Familiar with Maven, Git, Tomcat, Eclipse, and CI tools.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Java/Spring-based web application.
• Write and review front-end code with Angular and JavaScript.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide estimates.
