Job summary

Cadmus in the United States is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile team supporting a multi-year federal contract. You will develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, independent delivery, and collaboration with architects, testers, and business stakeholders; experience with legacy modernization and IBM WAS/IHS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience, mainly in Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Strong front-end experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of legacy modernization.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Develop and maintain RESTful services and APIs.
• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
• Perform code reviews and seek to improve quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
