Job summary

OneImaging Inc. seeks a versatile Full Stack Software Engineer to design and implement features across our healthcare platform, spanning React frontend and TypeScript/Node.js backend to ensure performance and reliability for patients and providers.

You will collaborate across data engineering, UI/UX, and platform teams, write tests, optimize performance, and deploy on AWS. Equity and competitive benefits accompany a base salary range of $120,000–$180,000 per year for Oregon-based candidates.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline with 4+ years of full stack development experience, or 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript across both frontend and backend environments.
• Experience with React, Next.js, and modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
• Proven experience with Node.js, Express, and RESTful API development.
• Solid understanding of MongoDB (Mongoose) and PostgreSQL database systems.
• Experience with responsive design, CSS-in-JS, and frontend performance optimization.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks incl. Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Understanding of web security best practices and secure authentication/authorization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug across the stack.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full stack features using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.
• Build responsive, accessible frontend interfaces for patients and healthcare providers.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with authentication and HIPAA-compliant audit logging.
• Create reusable React components and maintain consistent design patterns.
• Implement state management and optimize frontend performance for complex workflows.
• Write comprehensive tests across the stack (unit,int,e2e).
• Align with UI/UX designs and PRDs to translate screens into production features.
• Collaborate with data engineering to integrate analytics and BI capabilities.
• Participate in architecture decisions affecting frontend and backend systems.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Leverage AWS (S3, CloudFront, Route 53, App Runner, Fargate) for deployment.
• Maintain API, component library, and architectural documentation.
