Motion Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join an early-stage digital health startup in Boston. You will own features from concept to deployment across the stack, collaborating with product, clinical, and engineering teams to deliver secure healthcare solutions using TypeScript, React, and Node on AWS or GCP.

The role is hands-on, requiring strong product sense and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production software across the stack.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Node application development.
• Experience in small, fast-paced teams with shifting priorities.
• Strong product sense and ability to trade off features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support full-stack applications and APIs.
• Design and maintain backend services and data models.
• Build internal tools to accelerate teams.
• Collaborate with clinical/operations teams to translate patient needs into software.
• Pair with navigators to deliver impactful healthcare solutions.

An early-stage digital health startup is looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer to help build and enhance their digital platform that supports health care patients and their care teams.
This hands-on role involves owning features from concept to deployment, working across multiple areas of the product, and collaborating closely with product, clinical, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and impactful healthcare solutions. You would be using TypeScript, React, Node, AWS or Google Cloud Platform

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Node application development
• 4+ years building production software across the stack.
• Experience working in small, fast-paced teams where priorities change frequently
• Strong product sense

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in healthcare, and HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Comfort with LLM application development (prompt design, evals, RAG, tool use)
• Degree in a relevant field
• Background shipping mobile (React Native, iOS, Android)
• Ability to communicate clearly and make practical tradeoffs
