You will develop, integrate, test, and maintain software across the stack, collaborating with engineers, architects, product owners, and mission stakeholders. The role emphasizes backend services, RESTful APIs, data integrations, and user-facing features within established architectures.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in software engineering, including developing, testing, integrating, or maintaining software applications
3+ years of experience developing applications using Python, Java, or another object-oriented programming language
2+ years of experience developing web applications using frontend technologies or frameworks, such as React or Angular
Experience developing or integrating backend services and RESTful APIs
Experience developing applications using relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, and working with SQL
Experience working within Agile software development environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Experience using software development and task management tools, such as Jira
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or additional software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Join the Nalley Consulting team as a Full Stack Software Engineer.

Position: Full Stack Software Engineer

LCAT: Mid Data Engineer (Software Development)

Location: DIA HQ, Washington, DC

Required clearance and polygraph: Active TS/SCI and CI polygraph. Candidates with current CI polygraph conducted within the past 7 years highly prioritized.

Required experience/education: 4+ years of experience and bachelor's degree

As a full stack developer on our team, you'll develop, integrate, test, and maintain software capabilities from requirements through production delivery. You’ll work across the technology stack and collaborate with other engineers, architects, product owners, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable and maintainable software solutions.

You’ll use modern development tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies to solve challenging technical and mission problems. You’ll develop backend services, APIs, data integrations, and user-facing capabilities while working within established application architectures and engineering standards.

You’ll participate in technical design discussions, troubleshoot application issues, conduct code reviews, and contribute to improvements in software quality and maintainability.

Experience with automated unit, integration, or end-to-end testing
Experience with application authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, or observability
Experience working inDevSecOpssoftware delivery environments.
