Job summary

evoke in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join the core engineering team building the AI-native video intelligence platform. You will design and implement backend systems, APIs, and frontend interfaces to enable real-time video analytics and multimodal AI workflows.

Ideal candidates have a CS degree (or equivalent) and 2–8 years of software engineering experience, with startup or scale-up exposure and a track record of delivering at speed.

Full-Stack Engineer - Sunnyvale, CA (On-site) | Series B AI Startup

We're working with a fast-growing, Series B-backed AI company reimagining physical security - turning cameras and sensors into an intelligent, autonomous system using multimodal LLMs and computer vision.

Founded by robotics PhDs (Oxford & Cornell) who previously led engineering at a major autonomous-vehicle company, the team has raised over $60M+ from top-tier VCs and is going after a $50B+ legacy industry that's ripe for disruption.

The role: You'll join the core engineering team building the systems behind an AI-native video intelligence platform - think natural-language video search, real-time detections, and agentic workflows.

You'll:

• Build and scale backend services that ingest, process, and serve video/sensor data at scale
• Ship AI-native features end-to-end, working with multimodal LLMs and computer vision
• Build user-facing frontends in TypeScript/React
• Design APIs that interface with ML pipelines and an edge device fleet
• Work on distributed systems, real-time processing, and high availability

What we're looking for:

• CS degree (or a similarly technical background - physics, maths, mechanical engineering)
• ~2-8 years of software engineering experience, with strong tenure
• Startup or scale-up experience - you know what "good" looks like at speed

Package:

• Base: $180k - $250k + early-stage equity
