Underdog.io is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to architect and deliver high-impact features across web and mobile platforms. You will shape the product roadmap for a SaaS solution used by enterprise clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges.

Qualifications

• 3 years of full-stack development experience with React and/or Ruby on Rails in production environments.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, REST API design, and PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Proven track record shipping B2B SaaS products for non-technical users.
• Strong grasp of cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent hands‑on engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end solutions using React (TypeScript) for frontend and Ruby on Rails for backend systems.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security across PostgreSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Lead code reviews and architectural decisions while managing technical debt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Partner with product managers and customer success teams to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to maintain rapid, reliable deployment cycles.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to on-call rotations for mission-critical systems.
