Job summary

The Corporate in Oakland, CA is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to own end-to-end development across presentation, services, and data layers. The role emphasizes deep expertise in React/Node, API design, and scalable architectures in a hybrid work setting.

You will mentor juniors, participate in architecture discussions, and contribute to agile teams while delivering high-quality web applications using cloud-native, serverless, and containerized deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8 years of experience in full stack web development
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6 )
• Experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.)
• Solid understanding of Node.js and Express.js
• Experience with Azure / AWS services, particularly Lambda and ECS
• Understanding of RESTful API and GraphQL design principles
• Strong experience with SQL databases and NoSQL databases (particularly Couchbase)
• Experience with graph databases and graph data modeling

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and Node.js
• Build and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices using Node.js
• Create clean, maintainable, and performant front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Implement serverless architectures using Azure / AWS Lambda and container-based solutions with ECS
• Design and maintain both SQL and NoSQL database schemas and queries
• Work with graph databases for complex data relationships
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Debug and optimize applications for maximum performance
• Work within an agile development environment
• Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge
• Participate in technical design discussions and architecture planning
