Job summary

Auction.com is hiring engineers to build a large digital marketplace for real estate. You’ll work with React/TypeScript on the frontend and Node, Kotlin, and GraphQL on the backend, running on AWS and Kubernetes. You’ll own features end to end and ship them with automated tests in production.

You’ll join a lean team of ~50 engineers, contribute to design reviews, and shape how AI-enabled features are integrated. A competitive salary and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping production software.
• Experience with React front-end development.
• Backend services in Node.js or Kotlin/Java with REST or GraphQL.
• Hands-on AWS or another cloud experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end from design to production.
• Ship customer-facing features and supporting services.
• Write automated tests and maintain CI pipelines.
• Debug complex production issues in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, data and other engineers.
