Job summary

Auction.com is transforming real estate with one of the largest digital marketplaces for residential property. As a full stack engineer, you’ll work in React and TypeScript on the front end, and Node, Kotlin, and GraphQL on the back end, running on AWS and Kubernetes.

You’ll own features end to end: design, build, test, ship, and support them in production. You’ll work in a lean tech org (~50 engineers), ship customer-facing features in small slices, and test comprehensively with CI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping production software.
• Proficient in React and modern component frameworks.
• Backend experience with Node.js or Kotlin/Java.
• Hands-on in AWS and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL data stores and API design.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end: design, build, test, ship and support in production.
• Ship customer-facing features and services powering them.
• Write tests at unit, integration and end-to-end levels wired into CI.
• Debug production issues in distributed systems and propose fixes.
• Contribute in design discussions and code reviews with teammates.
